“Hello there, are you looking at me?” Gotta love Baby C’s grin over here! ;)
We are living in extraordinary times, and 2020 has indeed been a year of great change for all of us. Circuit Breaker started in early April, and ended on 1 June. During this period, most of us who are not essential workers stayed home most of the time. And yes, that meant no visits from and to relatives and friends, for almost 2 whole months. So the 2020 babies actually spent quite a lot of time at home, interacting with only their parents.
When we were finally allowed to resume operations in mid June, we started photographing many 2020 babies whose first “social trip” (since the Circuit Breaker) was to our studio. Baby C was one of the first babies we photographed upon our studio reopening, and we were really excited to have him on our set!
Since it was his first time interacting with other people (besides his parents) in a long time, he took time to warm up to us – and this was perfectly normal and fine! :) Of course, there were some cries, but they didn’t last long. Overall, we were really glad to have him feel more relaxed and comfortable enough for a beautiful portrait session! :)

“What? What cries? I was smiling and laughing all the way, okay! Here’s my charming smile to prove it.” :p

He fits into our wooden bowl just nicely.

Not a fan of lying down – which is perfectly common at this stage! Once babies are able to sit up, they rarely enjoy lying down. I mean, the view you get while sitting up is way much more awesome than staring at the plain boring ceiling, isn’t it? ;)

“Someone, help please! I need to get up right now!”
