Outdoor family photoshoots might take a little more planning — the weather, the lighting, the unpredictable energy of little ones — but they are always worth it. There’s just something about the fresh air and open space that brings out the most candid, joy-filled moments.

This beautiful family of four was such a delight to photograph. Mum and dad were full of energy and laughter, which helped set the tone for a relaxed session. And lucky us — both kids were in an incredibly cheerful mood that day. Add a bottle of bubbles into the mix and we had magic in the making.

We love outdoor sessions because they allow children to run freely and be themselves, and that’s when we get the most natural smiles and unposed moments. From twirling in the grass to chasing bubbles, the photos always turn out light-hearted, fun and full of connection.
