It is not every time that you will get to meet a 6-week-old baby who seldom fusses when you attempt to position and pose him on your Newborn set, especially when he is wide awake at times. That is why we always explain to parents with a newborn baby who is more than 2 weeks old beforehand that it might not be possible to achieve the usual Newborn poses, as most poses are best done when your baby is less alert/sensitive and sound asleep. As mentioned many times before, safety is always our top priority, and we will never proceed with a pose which your baby is uncomfortable with. Ultimately, it still depends on your baby as each and every baby is different and unique. And even if your older newborn baby does not like the usual Newborn poses, no worries, we can still get beautiful portraits of him/her, in a different style. :)
Baby Jose was 6 weeks old when we did his Newborn portraiture session. And he is one of the rare older newborns who allowed us to pose him just (or almost) like a 10-day-old newborn baby. We could see he totally enjoyed being the star of his session. ;)
The first few weeks of your baby go by incredibly fast. We are so glad that mummy Jac and daddy Alvin saw the importance of getting Newborn portraits of their little one done to preserve this precious phase of his life. And it is an even greater privilege of ours that they commissioned Orange Studios to capture these once-in-a-lifetime moments for their family, especially for Baby Jose.
